Hearts on Call was established to provide advocacy and care for adults in the comfort of their own homes. Over 20 years ago, our family of owners, creators, and administrators had experience with loved ones who were ill, aging, or injured and needed companion or skilled care. Many times, the only options available were nursing homes or hospitals. We’ve seen a growing need for professionals to assist loved ones who want to stay home but cannot fully care for themselves. They need the support of skilled caregivers. Our organization is locally owned and operated, with strong connections in numerous counties in and around Western Ohio, including the Dayton and Cincinnati areas.
Our Mission
Our mission is to fully support those who cannot maintain activities of daily living without assistance. We aim to help those requiring extra attention or specialized care. We work hand in hand with our clients, their families,
and friends with the sole purpose of enhancing their overall well-being, comfort, peace, and joy in every
facet of their lives.
Our Approach
In contrast to the ‘usual’ companion and skilled care agency, we take a different view and approach to make sure that your loved one is cared for in a way that leaves you with no guilt or regret. We prioritize hiring individuals genuinely interested in caring for others rather than just looking for a paycheck. Our thorough screening process includes background checks, psychological tests, drug tests, and personal interviews to ensure the highest level
of character and suitability. We view each potential client as someone with unique and valuable expectations of
ow they want to be treated. Then, we carefully match our caregivers with your loved ones based on their specific needs, preferences, and personalities to ensure a
suitable fit.

people with big hearts who find fulfillment in providing care and companionship to those in need. Their dedication
and empathy make a world of difference in the care
they provide.
Our caregivers are expected to perform at a higher level of competence than ordinary caregivers. We train them with a strong foundation of standards so we don’t have to guess what they know or how they respond. We are licensed by Caregiver Quality Assurance, whose seal of approval helps families choose the right home care company for their loved ones.
We train each person to care for our clients properly, legally, and lovingly. We assess that each caregiver has good problem-solving skills and can learn new skills as necessary. We perform thorough background checks, substance abuse tests, elder abuse screenings, and driving record screenings to ensure the safety and well being of our clients.
We are committed to continually testing, training, and educating our caregivers to ensure they provide the highest level of care with compassion and empathy.
